Tribbles Tuesday
Monday basically didn’t even happen. We went 6–6 and it was a meh day, full of meh games, with meh weather and meh picks, maybe should change it to Mehnday. We are 197–181 overall though which Is still pretty good considering when I give Devin the rankings of the teams he’s picking he says “why you giving me the rankings for this shit, I pick based off random names” meaning he Is trying to do it as random as possible and he is one of our better pickers, that’s right, one of the BETTER ones. Speaking of better, Ross sure is on a tear with soccer games, I didn’t know there was any soccer today so I gave him the day off but he will be back to pick more winners for y’all, maybe. Ross is so good at picking soccer it almost made me not hate soccer, that is impressive if you ask me. Rafi finally picked a double loser again, so bacon is back on the menu and we are back to sacrificing his pet pig in some sort of ritual sacrifice for good luck. Anywho, today is a rough day with no NBA, very little CBB and no soccer (there is soccer on I just didn’t know about it till after I started writing, ill include some tomorrow) BUT lets get into it and gamble responsibly so we can blow our load when the NBA comes back and Ross starts picking losers.
Oral Roberts vs North Dakota state -1 o/u 146.5 -I gave Jacob a while off with no NBA games on but he is back to pick from a completely random CBB game, he is good at picking NBA so maybe he’s good at picking any sport with talls. Jacob is on North Dakota State -1 and initially he wanted to go with the under but eventually landed on the OVER 146.5 points. Much like soccer, I really don’t get college over/unders, I think you need to be really into college basketball to get good at betting them and with march madness coming up, we have approximately one week to get good at it. Go ND state I guess, score points.
Oakland vs Cleveland State -2 o/u 139 -The only reason this game got picked was because it had the most combined wins outside of Zaga vs BYU, I have no idea who is on these teams and not like “I only know 1 dude or the coach” I mean I know 0, never even heard of Cleveland state, but I can picture it in my mind, it looks like a brick building on the outskirts of Cleveland, did i nail it? I bet i nailed it. Because I knew nothing about this game I knew Brad would also know nothing about this game, he wasn’t even sure what sport I was sending him at first, BUT he elected to go with OAKLAND and the UNDER. I wish I could say that was bold prediction Brad but I seriously have no idea, 100% in the dark on this one.
#1 Gonzaga vs BYU (20–5) +13.5 points o/u 155 — Devin said I made fun of him for taking the under yesterday, which he hit on, but it hurt his feelings so hes taking the over here, even though he got the bet correct, again ladies and gentlemen this is one of our BETTER bettors. In addition to the over, Devin is taking Danny Ainge on this bet. Without knowing where Ainge went to school, we all still know where he went, ya know? His name just sounds like a BYU alum, his big head and lanky tall ass white body, it all just screams BYU doesn’t it? Is that racist towards plain weird looking whites? Probably. BYU +13.5 OVER 155 points.
Bruins -115 vs Islanders -105 o/u 5.5 — Tom is back and he has selected the Bruins and the UNDER here so that will be our official bet but we have a contender for the bruins games emerging. Andy told me that the Islanders have the bruins numbers and he think the Isles are going to win. So like I said, bruins under will be our official pick BUT Andy is coming for that crown Tom, he thinks you are wrong and he wants you to know it.
Blackhawks +115 vs Stars -135 o/u 5.5 — Denis is here for a little middle of the country hockey, at least I think its middles of the country, that’s why these two teams are in the same division right? Otherwise, I have no idea how Dallas and Chicago wound up playing each other in this covid constricted season. Denis has decided to go with the STARS and the over, strong move Denis. I kind of like the +115 with the hawks but I think I forgot to send that part to Denis so whatever, Stars OVER 5.5. As rafi would say, there are definitely more than 5.5 stars, gotta be over.
Jets +155 vs Maple Leafs -175 o/u 6.5 — Last game of the night is mine and I picked this mostly because I don’t really care who wins or loses. These are two of the best teams in hockey with some of the most entertaining players so this should be a great game and because I really do think this will be a good game im just going to take the +155 and hope for the best. JETS and OVER 6.5 goals. Im not sure if these are two best scoring teams per game but I do know these two have scored the most total goals in the league (86 and 90 goals) so lets hope for a big time 4–3 late night win. Go Jets.
